Nile Basin DSS software comes in two DVDs.

  1. Mike By DHI 2012 Software DVD: all modeling software that provides the modeling tool for Nile Basin DSS. The modeling tools that have adaptors written to them and ready to plug-in to the NB DSS are: Mike 11, Mike She, Mike Hydro and Mike Basin.
  2. Nile Basin DSS DVD: the DSS framework application that integrates the modeling tools, a knowledge base for storing temporal, spatial, scalar and tabular data related to water resources management, an information management system for pre-processing and post-processing data, a scenario manager for analyzing alternative options and running simulations, an indicator manager. The DVD contains the DSS framework and other prerequisite software including the following:
    • PostgreSQL database
    • PostGIS
    • .NET 4 framework
